A love letter to Black children and a call to action for educators, practitioners and stakeholders, Voices in the Classroom explores how African American English (AAE) carries history, identity, and brilliance into early childhood classrooms. Blending research, lived experience, and raciolinguistic theory, Dr. Lewis-Jones challenges systems that silence Black voices and offers a vision for schools where language is honored, not corrected.
